Sr. Manuel’s Seafood Bar, born from the transformation of an old grocery store in lively Rua Amarela, redefines dining by blending bar conviviality with seafood delights, inspired by its historical roots.

In January 2024, we embarked on a remodel aimed at solidifying its position as a dynamic seafood destination.

Spatially, the idea was to create an indoor garden using natural materials, with terracotta and green tones. Plants are a fundamental and prominent element of the space. To represent the restaurant’s duality of serving both during the day and at night, an L-shaped bar was constructed, serving cocktails on one side and pastries on the other.

Additionally, square tiles were incorporated throughout the space, including on the counter and in the bathroom, resembling pool tiles.

The primary goal would be to emphasize the restaurant and bar areas. To achieve this, we divided the room into two sections with a wall featuring an arched passage.
